Common use of Step I Clause in Contracts

Step I. If the problem is not resolved as a result of the informal discussion, the grievant shall, within ten (10) days after such discussion, submit the grievance on the appropriate form to his/her principal. A meeting shall be mutually arranged between the grievant and the principal within ten (10) days after submittal. Within ten (10) days after the meeting, the principal shall provide the grievant a written disposition on the grievance.
