Statutory Considerations. Pursuant to §122A.26, an Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE/ SCHOOL READINESS) Teacher who teaches in an early childhood and family education program that is offered through a community education program which qualifies for community education aid or ECFE/ SCHOOL READINESS aid must meet licensure requirements as a Teacher. However, §122A.26 specifically provides that such licensure shall not be construed to bring such ECFE/ SCHOOL READINESS Teacher within the definition of a Teacher for purposes of §122A.40, Subdivision 1 or §122A.41, Subdivision 1.
