Common use of Standard Resolution Outputs Clause in Contracts

Standard Resolution Outputs. Integrated Products that incorporate analog outputs that are not part of incorporated DVD Products must, in any transmission through a standard definition NTSC, YUV, SECAM, PAL, or SCART connector analog output (including an S-video output for listed formats and including transmissions to any internal recording device) of a signal constituting the content converted from CSS Data, generate copy control signals and/or information in response to the instructions provided in the digital data on a prerecorded DVD Disc. Absent an amendment to these CSS Procedural Specifications, and except pursuant to (c), below, the only technologies that provide the requisite copy control signals and/or information are the standard definition versions of the following outputs:
