  • Stand-By Time Stand-by time is defined as time that an employee is assigned, in writing and in advance, to be ready to work outside their normal work hours Schedule and Response. While on stand-by time, the employee must be ready and able to report to work within forty-five (45) minutes if so notified by phone, pagers, or other electronic device provided by the City. Employees on stand-by shall be subject to the call out provisions of this Article.

  • Stand-By Pay Employees are entitled to stand-by pay if required to remain on the Employer’s premises or so close thereto that the employee cannot use the time effectively for his/her own purposes. Stand-by payment shall be at the regular, or overtime rate of pay, whichever is applicable. An employee who is not required to remain on the Employer’s premises but is merely required to leave word at his/her home or with the Employer where he/she may be reached is not working while on call. If an employee is called back to work, the provisions of Section 2 apply. Any employee who is place on call shall not be required to perform any duties the employee is not qualified to perform.

  • Stand-by The status of an employee who has been specifically assigned by an appropriate supervisor to remain available for call-in at home or any location employer has been made aware of such that the employee can be contacted by telephone to report to work immediately upon notification from employer.

  • Stand-by Duty A. An employee who is required by the Department head to be available on a stand-by basis leave to report to duty when necessary shall be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed seventeen dollars and fifty cents ($17.50) for such stand-by period.

  • Removal of Contractor Employee All employees of the Engineer assigned to this contract shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. The State may instruct the Engineer to remove any employee from association with work authorized in this contract if, in the sole opinion of the State, the work of that employee does not comply with the terms of this contract or if the conduct of that employee becomes detrimental to the work.

  • Excess Travelling Time As well as the above-mentioned Fares allowance, excess travelling time is payable if the work site is beyond 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office. Where an employee is required to travel to a job site outside the 50 kilometres from the Employer’s registered office or depot the employee will be paid the following: • A payment for time travelled in excess of the 50 kilometres with a minimum payment of a quarter of an hour.   • COPIES OF DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION Each Paying Agent shall hold available for inspection at its specified office during normal business hours copies of all documents required to be so available by the Conditions of any Notes or the rules of any relevant Stock Exchange (or any other relevant authority). For these purposes, the Issuer shall provide the Paying Agents with sufficient copies of each of the relevant documents.

  • Less-Than-Full-Time Employees (a) For less-than-full-time employees (including part-time, seasonal, and intermittent employees), who have at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in the month, the Employer shall contribute a prorated amount of the contribution for full-time employees. This prorated contribution shall be based on the ratio of paid regular hours to full-time hours to the nearest full percent, except that less-than-full-time employees who have at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month shall receive no less than one-half (½) of the contribution for full-time employees.

  • Transportation for Employees Transportation will be provided to employees who are required to work other than their normal working hours, and who must travel to or from their home during the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and when convenient public transportation or other transportation facilities are not available. An employee shall be reimbursed for the cost of commercial transportation within their headquarters area, upon presentation of receipts.

  • Release Time for Interviews Release time will be granted to represented individuals for the purposes of interviewing for positions within the University.
