Common use of Stage IV Clause in Contracts

Stage IV. 5.2.4.1 If the grievance is not resolved at Stage III, either party to the Agreement may elect to settle the dispute by arbitration. An individual employee may not refer a matter to arbitration. 5.2.4.2 If the grievance is referred to arbitration, the referring party shall notify the other party of its intention to submit the matter to arbitration by sending, via registered mail, the questions it will submit to arbitration to both the arbitrator and the other party.
