Spousal Life Insurance. Subject to the approval of the insurance carrier, spousal life insurance shall be available in units of $10,000 to maximum of $200,000 provided that the employee pays 100% of the premium costs.
Spousal Life Insurance. You are eligible for life insurance for your spouse. You will have six (6) options to choose from each calendar year during the annual open enrollment process, which will be conducted each Fall preceding the calendar year. Your options will include: • No coverage. • Coverage at $10,000. • Coverage at $25,000. • Coverage at $50,000. • Coverage at $75,000. • Coverage at $100,000. Satisfactory proof of evidence of insurability is required for all increases. If you elect spousal life insurance, you will pay the full cost of the premium. This cost will be deducted from your paycheck on an after tax-basis. The cost can change each year and depends upon the coverage level you select and your spouse’s age.
