Enrollment Process. The College will assist with enrollment for all ECHS students eligible for dual credit courses. ECHS students must follow the College's Admissions, Advising, and Registration requirements as stated in the College Catalog found on the NC website. • CONTINUED ENROLLMENT: Enrollment in dual credit courses is contingent upon the following: o An ECHS student will maintain academic standards for coursework completed through NC. o If a student’s academic standards placing them on Academic Probation or Suspension, the student will be required to meet with the appropriate academic xxxx for approval to register for the upcoming term. o An ECHS student who has failed a course will be allowed to have one repeat of the course with tuition and fees waived by NC. Any attempts after the first repeat of the course, the student will assume the financial responsibility for the tuition and fees of the course(s) retaking. o An ECHS student who is indebted to NC for any reason will not be allowed to register until all financial obligations due to the College are cleared.

Enrollment Process. The DRCS shall enroll any eligible student for whom a timely application is submitted within the constraints of demographic representation as defined in law, rule, or policy, unless the number of applications exceeds the capacity of a demographic grouping, program, class, grade level, or building. The maximum number of students to be accommodated by the DRCS is 1600 students with approximate distribution by grade grouping as follows: In the event that the number of applications exceeds such capacity, all eligible applicants shall have an equal chance of being admitted through a random selection process that complies with the selection procedures mandated by all applicable law, rule, or policy relating to a DRS or a DRCS. Related to Enrollment Process

  • Enrollment means the number of students who are enrolled in a school operated by the district on October 1. A student shall be counted as one whether the student is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student. Students enrolled in prekindergarten programs shall not be counted.
