Speed Change Clause Samples

The Speed Change clause defines the conditions under which the speed of performance or delivery in a contract can be altered. Typically, this clause allows one or both parties to request an increase or decrease in the pace of work, such as accelerating a construction schedule or slowing down production, often subject to mutual agreement or specific notice requirements. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility in managing timelines, helping parties adapt to changing circumstances or project needs without breaching the contract.
