Common use of Site Based Management Clause in Contracts

Site Based Management. A. A public school employer has the responsibility, authority, and right to manage and direct on behalf of the public, the operations and activities of public schools under its control. The Board of Education retains the right to develop, organize, staff and operate multiple school configurations to meet the needs of the students as determined by the Board of Education. The Union and the Board agree to promote the concept of "Site-Based Managed Schools." In order to facilitate the concept of "Site- Based Management” in each of the Xxxxxx Schools, the Union and Board agree to the following:
