Common use of Shift Rates Clause in Contracts

Shift Rates. Subject to clauses B6.3 to B6.5 below, Casual employees will be paid: (a) their Normal hourly rate for working on Day Shift; (b) an Afternoon Shift Rate of 15% more than their Normal hourly rate for working on Afternoon Shift; and (c) a Night Shift Rate of 30% more than their Normal hourly rate for working on Night Shift, (d) plus payment of the Casual Loading applied to the base normal hourly rate only.
