Common use of Shift Rates Clause in Contracts

Shift Rates. Casual employees on shift work shall be paid for ordinary hours at the base permanent hourly rate appropriate rates prescribed in 8.1 hereof, plus 20% thereof for afternoon shift work or plus 30% thereof for night shift.
