Common use of Shift Lengths Clause in Contracts

Shift Lengths. 6.1 Shift lengths will be determined by the Incident Controller and will commence and conclude at the nominated time and location (i.e. temporary workplace) as determined by the Incident Controller. 6.2 Unless authorised by the Incident Controller, shift lengths must not be exceeded. It is the responsibility of the Incident Controller (and/or employer and employee) to ensure that compliance with shift lengths and rest period requirements are adhered to.
