Rostered Shift Lengths. 20.3.1 The minimum shift length for normal rostered shifts for full time employees shall be 7 hours. 20.3.2 Subject to the following provisions, employees may be rostered in shifts (except for short shifts) of any length between seven and twelve hours. 20.3.3 Shift lengths between four hours and less than seven hours shall not be used for normal rostered work but may be used in circumstances including; travel, meetings, training, health assessments, drug & alcohol tests or other similar appointments, and overtime shifts. 20.3.4 Call outs may be less than four hours, however, a minimum payment of four hours shall apply.
