Common use of Shift Adjustment Pay Clause in Contracts

Shift Adjustment Pay. Any time an employee’s normally scheduled shift is adjusted with less than seven (7) days’ notice, they shall be paid an additional one-half (½) of the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked outside their normally scheduled shift. If the employee works less than three (3) hours outside of their normally scheduled shift they shall receive a minimum of three hours of shift adjustment pay. A shift adjustment is not a “callback”.
