Common use of Serious Illness Clause in Contracts

Serious Illness. A teacher shall be granted five (5) days for each incident without loss of pay and benefits to attend to the serious illness of a parent, step-parent, child, step-child, grandchild, spouse, same- sex partner or fiancée or person for whom you have been declared a guardian.
