Common use of Section 9.4.4 Clause in Contracts

Section 9.4.4. 40 Any employee who has completed the probationary period shall be entitled to a leave of 41 absence in cases of protracted illness or injury as certified by their physician. Upon application 42 to the District, such leave shall be granted for the period of illness or injury up to one year, up 43 to three (3) years caused by on-the-job injury. On return to work the employee will return to 44 the same or similar position.
