Common use of Section 7.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 7.1. 2 In the event of mistake in payment, the following rules shall apply: 2 a. In the event of underpayment, correction will be made on the employee's next paycheck, 3 provided the District is notified by the 10th of the month, otherwise on the following paycheck. 4 5 b. In the event of overpayment of more than one hundred ($100.00) dollars as an accumulative 6 total, the employee shall have one of these two options: 8 1. The overpayment may be deducted from the employee's check prorated over the remaining 9 months of the contract, or 10 11 2. The method of repayment may be negotiated between the employee and the District. (The 12 employee may be represented by the Association.) 13
