Second Stage. If the two Parties are unable to agree at first stage, then within ten (10) days of receipt of an answer to the first stage grievance, the Union must take up the grievance in writing with the appropriate management representatives as designated by the Employer. A meeting shall be convened within seven (7) days of the filing of the grievance in writing at second stage, at which the grievor shall be present in disciplinary related matters unless both Parties agree otherwise. When the grievors or job xxxxxxx(s) attend during their regular working hours, they shall suffer no loss of pay. If the grievors or job xxxxxxx(s) attend on their own time, they shall be paid at straight-time rates for the time of the second stage meeting. The minimum pay of one (1) hour shall apply. The answer to the second stage grievance must be given within ten (10) days of the meeting held to discuss the grievance at second stage.
Second Stage. If the grievance is not resolved, then within ten (10) days of receipt of any answer at the first stage, the Union shall take up the grievance in writing with the Publisher (or his representative). The answer to the second stage grievance must be given in writing within ten (10) days of the receipt of the grievance at the second stage.
Second Stage. If the alleged grievance is not settled by the Fire Chief within eight (8) days, the matter shall be referred to the Chief Administrative Officer or designate appointed by the Chief Administrative Officer who shall arrange for meetings with the Union within eight (8) days from receipt of such request.
Second Stage a. If the Employee or the Union is dissatisfied with the decision at the First Stage, the Employee or the Union may refer the matter to the Vice President of the division in which the Employee is assigned, by submitting a copy of the grievance and the First Stage decision, along with a request for Second Stage review, within fourteen (14) calendar days of its issue.
Second Stage. If the matter remains unresolved, within 15 working days of the first stage dispute meeting the concerned Trade Union may refer the matter to the Chief Executive who will organise a hearing before three Trust Board Members (not including any Director involved in an earlier stage), a decision will be made and a formal response given. A meeting should take place within 15 working days of the date that the letter was received by the Chief Executive. All relevant papers by both parties should be exchanged 5 working days before the meeting or at an alternative date agreed by both parties.

Thereupon, and within five (5) days after receiving such request, the Unit Head may request the immediate supervisor to submit a written statement of his information concerning the specific nature of the grievance and facts relating to it.

If an employee presenting a grievance be not satisfied with the decision made by his immediate supervisor, he may, within five (5) days thereafter, request a review and determination of his grievance by the Department Head. Such request shall be in writing and shall contain a statement of the specific nature of the grievance and facts relating to it. Such request shall be served upon both the Department Head and the immediate supervisor to whom the grievance was originally presented. Thereupon, and within five (5) days after receiving such request, the immediate supervisor shall submit to the Department Head a written statement of his information concerning the specific nature of the grievance and the facts relating to it.
