Second Assessments. The Employer may require an employee who claims sick leave to request a second assessment by another medical doctor or nurse practitioner before sick leave is allowed. The cost of any medical exam and/or report shall be borne by the Employer. If such report is not received by the Employer or if the medical report does not substantiate that the employee cannot perform their duties, sick leave shall not be allowed.
