Common use of Scope of Memorandum of Understanding Clause in Contracts

Scope of Memorandum of Understanding. Except as otherwise specifically provided herein, this Memorandum of Understanding fully and completely incorporates the understanding of the parties hereto and constitutes the sole and entire understanding between the parties on any and all matters contained herein; provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit the parties from changing the terms of this Memorandum by mutual agreement. It is understood and agreed that any benefits and/or working conditions within the scope of representation presently in effect and not modified by this Memorandum of Understanding shall remain unchanged until the City and the Union meet and confer. This Memorandum of Understanding shall supersede all existing memoranda of understanding between the City and the Union.
