Rules of Use. 12.1.1 The following rules provide that each contract year, a bargaining unit member may use at his/her election, with district approval, not more than seven (7) days of accumulated sick leave benefits in the following cases of personal necessity of which the unit member need not give a reason for up to three (3) of the seven (7) days for compelling personal importance but must give the advance notice.
