Common use of Roll Call Pay Clause in Contracts

Roll Call Pay. Correctional Officers and other employees required both to stand roll-call and remain at the facility beyond eight (8) hours per day for such roll-call shall be paid for all such time over and above their regular salary at their straight time rate. Effective July 1, 2010, Correctional Officers and other employees required both to stand roll-call and remain at the facility beyond eight (8) hours per day for such roll-call shall be paid for all such time over and above their regular salary at the applicable overtime rate. An employee required to stand roll-call shall declare that he/she receive all roll-call compensation as compensatory time or cash. Such declaration will remain in effect unless changed by the employee prior to July 1st of each subsequent fiscal year.
