Return of Unpaid Leave. Upon return, the teacher shall be given an assignment within the scope of his/her license. A teacher on unpaid leave under this Article must teach at least 135 contract days in the school year in which the leave is taken in order to be credited for one (1) year on the salary schedule and sick leave credited as per law.
