Resits. If the Student fails an examination, he/she will have the opportunity to sit an additional examination. The regular local procedure established by the Host Institution for retaking the exam applies.
Resits. It is required that a student failing a course can pass a second examination. - In case the evaluation of this second examination is not finished before the end of the first academic year (semester 2), a student can be accepted in any of the semesters 3 only if the failed courses do not exceed 6 ECTS credits. - A student having failed more than 6 ECTS at the end of semester 2 cannot be awarded the FAMEAIS master double degree and the FAMEAIS master diploma supplement. The award of one single degree of one of the universities in which the student is enrolled becomes the sole responsibility of this university. In case the student was supported by an Erasmus Mundus grant, the lack of admission to semester 3 will mean an interruption of the scholarship. - A student accepted in a semester 3 who has not completed the semesters 1 and 2 is still required to pass the second evaluations of the failed courses. In case this second evaluation is not successful, the students cannot be awarded the FAMEAIS master double degree and the FAMEAIS master diploma supplement. The award of one single degree of one of the universities in which the student is enrolled becomes the sole responsibility of this university. In case the student was supported by an Erasmus Mundus grant, the lack of admission to semester 3 will mean an interruption of the scholarship.
Resits at each partner institution, the local policies for repeating Master level examinations will apply. In case of failure of a course (failure includes absence from an exam with or without legitimate reason) a resit is possible depending on the examination rules of the university. The marks of a subject won’t be used for compensating marks of another subject. If the Student failed a subject he/she shall abandon the ALA programme.
Resits. In the case of failure on one exam, a provisional validation of the corresponding mobility may be granted. The final validation shall be conditional upon retaking and successfully passing the exam in the following year, which may require the student to re-enrol at the university offering this course and retake the entire course. This procedure shall not be applied for students enrolled at the last intake of the Programme. ANNEX 3: STUDENT SELECTION, ADMISSION AND ENROLMENT‌ 1. Student eligibility criteria 1.1. Minimum requirements In order for a student application for the Programme to be taken into consideration, the candidate must comply with the minimum requirements with regard to administrative prerequisites, academic prerequisites and language prerequisites. Administrative prerequisites are: (a) Compliance with the application calendar and deadlines; (b) Submission of a complete set of required application documents in English language versions (certified English translation if required). Academic prerequisites are: (c) Completed Bachelor of Science in psychology or another degree in psychology recognized by the EU as a 1st or 2nd cycle degree equivalent to at least 180 ECTS. This prerequisite must be fulfilled at the time of administrative enrolment. Applications from Students in the last year of Bachelor or equivalent study programmes will be accepted conditionally. Language prerequisites are: (d) Proficiency in written and spoken English at a B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECR) duly confirmed by language certificates specified in the Call for Applications as per Point 2 of this Annex.
Resits. Re-sits are available to delegates who do not pass a CITB examination first time but a £50.00 + VAT resit fee will be charged.

  • Protective Footwear Effective January 1, 2002, and on that date for each subsequent calendar year, the Hospital will provide $80 per calendar year to each full-time and $45 per calendar year to each regular part-time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties. The employees who will be required to wear safety footwear will be negotiated locally and set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.   • Coaches (a) Seat rotation: To ensure all passengers have the opportunity to enjoy front and window seats, a daily seat rotation system is employed on all of Our coaches and You must follow the seat rotation system. (b) Travel sickness: If You suffer from travel sickness, You should arrange medication or other alternatives to treat symptoms, as We cannot make allowances for this.

  • Projects There shall be a thirty (30) km free zone around the projects excluding the Metro Vancouver Area. For local residents, kilometers shall be paid from the boundary of the free zone around the project. Workers employed by any contractor within an identified free zone who resides outside of that same free zone will be paid according to the Kilometer Chart from the project to their residence less thirty

  • Workload Management 11.1 The parties to this Agreement acknowledge that Employees and management have a responsibility to maintain a balanced workload and recognise the adverse effects that excessive workloads may have on Employee/s and the quality of resident/client care. 11.2 To ensure that Employee concerns involving excessive workloads are effectively dealt with by Management the following procedures should be applied: (a) Step 1: In the first instance, Employee/s should discuss the issue with their immediate supervisor and, where appropriate, explore solutions. (b) Step 2: If a solution cannot be identified and implemented, the matter should be referred to an appropriate senior manager for further discussion. (c) Step 3: If a solution still cannot be identified and implemented, the matter should be referred to the Facility Manager for further discussion. (d) Step 4: The outcome of the discussions at each level and any proposed solutions should be recorded in writing and fed back to the effected Employees. 11.3 Workload management must be an agenda item at staff meetings on at least a quarterly basis. Items in relation to workloads must be recorded in the minutes of the staff meeting, as well as actions to be taken to resolve the workloads issue/s. Resolution of workload issues should be based on the following criteria including but not limited to: (a) Clinical assessment of residents’ needs; (b) The demand of the environment such as facility layout; (c) Statutory obligation, (including, but not limited to, work health and safety legislation); (d) The requirements of nurse regulatory legislation; (e) Reasonable workloads (such as roster arrangements); (f) Accreditation standards; and (g) Budgetary considerations. 11.4 If the issue is still unresolved, the Employee/s may advance the matter through clause 9 Dispute Resolution Procedure. Arbitration of workload management issues may only occur by agreement of the Employer and the Employee representative, which may include the union/s.

  • Containers An extra charge will be made for returnable containers and special shipping devices (such as oil barrels, reels, tarpaulins, commutator clamps, etc.) where they are consigned to the Purchaser, but refund will be made if returned in good condition to the factory, or other points designated by EXION, within ninety (90) days from the date of original shipment, charges prepaid.
