Research-only Fixed Term Contract / Research-Contingent Appointments. 20.1.1 The transitional arrangements provided at Schedule 12(3), Transitional Arrangements – Research Only Academic Staff will apply to an Academic Staff Member on a Fixed Term Appointment to a research- only contract at 50% or more FTE who, at any time within 2 years from the date of commencement of this Agreement, meets the eligibility criteria stated in Schedule 12(3).

Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded transit projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. Section 5323(j)(1), 49 C.F.R. Sections 661.6 or 661.12, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.

  • Fixed Term Contract 1.1 The Customer shall use the following applicable Service Plan for the period specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (“Term”). The Term shall start from the service effective date.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.
