Common use of Requirement of Writing Clause in Contracts

Requirement of Writing. To the extent that Contractor is required under this Agreement to obtain OCA’s approval, consent, or agreement, such approval, consent, or agreement shall be in writing and must be signed by, or directly transmitted by electronic mail from, OCA Information Resources Manager, or its designee. Except as expressly set forth herein, OCA’s failure to respond to a requested approval, consent, or agreement shall be construed as OCA’s rejection of same.
