Required Equity Training. An effective SRO Program requires ongoing training for the SRO. Training topics, goals, and objectives may be determined jointly by representatives of the School District and County. These annual training topics may include but are not limited to: i. Diversity and equity; ii. Awareness and understanding of student’s disabilities and differences in strength and physical vulnerabilities of youth and the School District’s obligations to provide a free and appropriate public education; iii. Consequences of student involvement in the criminal and juvenile justice system; iv. All available alternatives to arrest (including but not limited to): restorative justice, conflict resolution and de-escalation; v. School values and mission; vi. Child and adolescent development; vii. Positive behavioral supports, strategies, and interventions; viii. Federal and state anti-discrimination and special education laws; ix. Trauma informed practices; x. De-escalation techniques; xi. Suicide prevention; and xii. School mental health.

Related to Required Equity Training

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Cybersecurity Training A. Contractor represents and warrants that it will comply with the requirements of Section 2054.5192 of the Texas Government Code relating to cybersecurity training and required verification of completion of the training program. B. Contractor represents and warrants that if Contractor or Subcontractors, officers, or employees of Contractor have access to any state computer system or database, the Contractor, Subcontractors, officers, and employees of Contractor shall complete cybersecurity training pursuant to and in accordance with Government Code, Section 2054.5192.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Mandatory Training The Department reserves the right to require the Charter School to attend any training related to the responsibilities of a Charter School.

  • MFMP Transaction Fee Reports The Contractor shall submit complete monthly MFMP Transaction Fee Reports to the Department. Reports are due 15 calendar days after the end of each month.
