REQUIRED COMPETENCIES. When Temple determines to add a required competency to a department, it shall notify the Union. Training for required competencies will be made available on work time, and uninterrupted time provided for employees to complete required learning. If the Hospital authorizes an employee to complete the required competencies electronically while not at work, the employee shall receive her or his regular rate for the time the Hospital deems necessary to complete the training.
