Request Timelines. 1. Employees shall submit leave requests in a timely manner. 2. When possible, planned leaves should be submitted 72 hours prior to the leave being taken. When situations prohibit 72 hours of notice being given, employees will submit requests at the earliest opportunity. 3. Failure to do shall be subject to progressive disciplinary action. Leave requests must be approved by the District according to the parameters of Article 19.
