Common use of REQUEST FOR LEGAL COUNSEL Clause in Contracts

REQUEST FOR LEGAL COUNSEL. If criminal or civil proceedings are brought against an employee arising out of disciplinary action taken by the employee against a student, the Association, after review of the facts of the case, may request the Board to furnish legal counsel to defend him/her in such proceedings. The request shall not be subject to the grievance procedure hereinafter provided, and the decision of the Board shall be final and conclusive.
