Common use of REPRESENTATIVE LEAVE Clause in Contracts

REPRESENTATIVE LEAVE. (a) Leave to attend trade union and union delegate courses/ seminars shall be as follows: (i) To a maximum of three (3) days per year (1 January to 31 December) for each facility listed in Appendix 3 for the totality of all applications of paid trade union, union delegate training leave, attendance at association conferences, meetings and courses provided that: 1. The scope, content and level of the courses are directed to the enhancement of the operation of the settlement of dispute procedures; 2. That two (2) weeks‘ notice is provided to the employer; 3. The approval of leave must have regard to the operational requirements of the employer; 4. This leave shall be paid at the ordinary time rate of pay. (b) Leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause shall count as service for all purposes of this Agreement.

(a) 2.6.1 Leave to attend trade union and union delegate courses/ courses/seminars shall be as follows: (i) : To a maximum of three (3) 5 days per year (1 January to 31 December) for each facility listed in Appendix 3 for the totality of all applications of paid trade union, union delegate training leave, attendance at association conferencesshall be available for the purpose of trade union training, meetings and courses union delegate courses, seminars provided that: 1. (a) The scope, content and level of the courses are directed to the enhancement of the operation of the settlement/dispute settlement of dispute proceduresprocedure/s; 2. (b) That two (2) weeks‘ weeks period of notice is provided to the employerEmployer; 3. (c) The approval of leave must have regard to the operational requirements of the employerEmployer; 4. (d) This leave shall be paid at the ordinary time rate of pay. (b) 2.6.2 Leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause shall count as service for all purposes of this Agreement.

(bii) Leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause shall count as service for all purposes of this Agreement.
