Report of Injury or Sickness. In the event of an injury or sickness occurring at work, a report of the injury or sickness must be made by the employee to his/her Division Manager without delay. Report of an injury or sickness is mandatory for eligibility to receive benefits provided in this section. When the employee returns to work, a copy of a medical provider’s release must be submitted to the Division Manager.

  • Bodily Injury Bodily injury means death, disease, illness, physical and mental injury of or to an individual.

  • Compensable Work-Related Injury or Illness Leave An employee who sustains a work-related illness or injury that is compensable under the state workers’ compensation law may select time-loss compensation exclusively or leave payments in addition to time-loss compensation.
