Common use of Relocation Costs Clause in Contracts

Relocation Costs. Except as otherwise provided in the Redevelopment Project Cost, City shall not be responsible for any relocation activity or the costs thereof that may be required by law to be paid with respect to any part of the Redevelopment Plan. Developer shall provide the relocation services and benefits as provided for under the Redevelopment Plan and shall hold City harmless from any claim, cost or expense for said services and benefits made by individuals and entities arising from implementation of this Redevelopment Plan, except that such costs may be deemed by City to be Redevelopment Project Costs. City acknowledges that the amounts paid by Developer to purchase real property from third parties within the Redevelopment Area are Reimbursable Project Costs up to the reimbursable amounts shown for the Land and Relocation line items on Exhibit F¸ as these amounts include relocation costs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, City may assist in administering relocation activity if requested by Xxxxxxxxx and approved by City, or if directed by the City Council of City.
