Common use of Relocation Allowances Clause in Contracts

Relocation Allowances. An employee whose headquarters is changed as a result of a promotion, voluntary/involuntary transfer or demotion shall be reimbursed for relocation expenses in accordance with the PSC relocation policy, Appendix F. Relocation expenses would include but not be limited to the following: - search for accommodation at new work location - moving of primary household effects - in-transit insurance - transportation of personal motor vehicle - travel to new work location - storage costs of household location - temporary accommodation at new work location - maintenance of original domicile - residential property expenses - incidental expenses.
