Common use of Relief Transfer Clause in Contracts

Relief Transfer. Upon request and with proper notice, a regular 2 full- or part-time nurse can transfer to a relief position in the same nursing unit 3 and shift, if available, or alternatively to a position in the relief pool. The nurse 4 must agree to comply with normal requirements of the relief position, and must 5 not be in an active disciplinary process. This type of transfer shall not require 6 position posting or bidding otherwise required by this Article.
