Common use of RELICS Clause in Contracts

RELICS. (a) Unless authorised to do so by a permit under section 87 or a consent under section 90 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 and subject to observance and compliance with any conditions imposed on the grant of such permit or consent the Lessee will not knowingly disturb, destroy, deface or damage any aboriginal relic or place or other item of archaeological significance within the Premises and will take reasonable precautions in drilling excavating or carrying out other operations or works on the Premises against any such disturbance, destruction, defacement or damage.

RELICS.
