Release of Landlord from Liability for Insured Loss or Damage. The Tenant hereby releases the Landlord and its servants, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability for loss or damage caused by any of the perils against which the Tenant has insured or pursuant to the terms of this Lease is obligated to insure the Buildings, or any part or parts of them, and the Tenant hereby covenants to indemnify and save harmless the Landlord and its respective servants, agents, successors, and assigns from and against all manner of actions, causes of action, suits, damages, loss, costs, claims, and demands of any nature whatsoever relating to such insured loss or damage or loss or damage that the Tenant is obligated to insure.

Release of Landlord from Liability for Insured Loss or Damage. The Tenant hereby releases the Landlord, its elected and appointed officials and employees from any and all liability for loss or damage caused by any of the perils against which the Tenant shall have insured or pursuant to the terms of this Lease is obligated to insure as provided herein, and the Tenant hereby covenants to indemnify and save harmless the Landlord, its elected and appointed officials and employees from and against all manner of actions, causes of action, suits, damages, loss, costs, claims, and demands of any nature whatsoever relating to such insured loss or damage or loss or damage which the Tenant is obligated to insure.

Under no circumstances shall any present or future partner of Landlord (if Landlord is a partnership), or trustee or beneficiary (if Landlord or any partner of Landlord is a trust), have any liability for the performance of Landlord’s obligations under this Lease. Notwithstanding any contrary provision herein, neither Landlord nor the Landlord Parties shall be liable under any circumstances for any indirect or consequential damages or any injury or damage to, or interference with, Tenant’s business, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of rents or other revenues, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of use, in each case, however occurring.

  • NON-LIABILITY OF LANDLORD Except in the event of negligence of Landlord, its agents, employees or contractors, Landlord shall not be liable for any loss or damage for failure to furnish heat, air conditioning, electricity, elevator service, water, sprinkler system or janitorial service. Landlord shall not be liable for personal injury, death or any damage from any cause about the Premises or the Building except if caused by Landlord's gross negligence.

  • Compensation for Damage or Loss (1) When investments made by investors of either Contracting Party suffer damage or loss owing to war or other armed conflict, a state of national emergency, revolt, civil disturbances, insurrection, riot or other similar events in the territory of the other Contracting Party, they shall be accorded by the latter Contracting Party, treatment, as regards restitution, indemnification, compensation or other settlement, not less favourable than that the latter Contracting Party accords to its own investors or investors of any third state, whichever is the most favourable.
