Common use of Relative Importance of Factors Clause in Contracts

Relative Importance of Factors. The relative importance of each factor in descending order of importance is as follows: Factor 1- Technical/Risk Approach is most important, and is more important than Factor 2- Corporate Experience. Factor 3- Management Approach is less important than Factor 2 but more important than Factor 4- Past Performance. For the purposes of making the award decision, all proposals that are rated technically Unacceptable on any factor will be deemed unawardable. In accordance with FAR 15.304(e), all evaluation factors other than Price, when combined, are significantly more important than Price.
