Rejected samples. If an initial sample is rejected, corrected initial samples shall immediately be presented on the date specified. If it is not possible to adhere to the date, the Customer's purchasing department must be informed immediately and in writing. If the initial samples are not released (i.e. initial samples without any restrictions), full payment for the initial samples for tool and jig costs will not be made. Deviations from the specifications require the Customer's written approval. This procedure represents an ex- ception and does not apply to criteria which are crucial for proper function.
