Common use of Regular Base Hourly Rate Clause in Contracts

Regular Base Hourly Rate. As used in this Contract is the rate at which an employee would be paid for one hour of regular nonovertime work in his current pay grade and step. This rate does not include any other payments except as specifically provided in the Fair Labor Standards Act or this Contract for purposes of determining overtime rates.
