Common use of Reasonable Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Reasonable Adjustments. (a) Where Doctors have a disability (whether permanent or temporary) the Health Service is required to make reasonable adjustments to enable the Doctor to continue to perform their duties, subject to subclause 62.2(b) below. (b) A Health Service is not required to make reasonable adjustments if the Doctor could not or cannot adequately perform the genuine and reasonable requirements of the employment even after the adjustments are made.
