Reading Course Clause Samples

The Reading Course clause establishes the terms under which a student may undertake an independent study focused on reading and analyzing selected materials, typically under the supervision of a faculty member. This clause usually outlines the requirements for approval, the expected workload, and the method of assessment, such as written reports or presentations. Its core function is to provide a structured framework for self-directed learning outside of standard coursework, ensuring both academic rigor and accountability.
