Qualifying for Holiday Pay. To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must have worked on the scheduled work day prior to his scheduled holiday and scheduled work day after the holiday, unless such absence is approved. However, an employee on general leave pursuant to Article 23.06 is not entitled to holiday pay.
