Common use of Public Protection Clause in Contracts

Public Protection. LICENSEE’S use of the beach sites is non-exclusive and shall make adequate provisions for the protection of the public who use the beach sites. LICENSEE and/or his or her contractor shall take all reasonable measures to insure public safety during the course of the work, including the transportation of equipment and materials through the County-owned property. This shall include barricades, fencing, and/or other warning devices necessary to protect the public from injuries. COUNTY reserves the right to require LICENSEE to suspend or relocate activities if necessary or desirable to accommodate other uses of the beach sites.
