Common use of Public Holidays Clause in Contracts

Public Holidays. Where the part-time employee's normal paid hours fall on a public holiday prescribed in clause 7.5 of the Award and work is not performed by the employee, such employee shall not lose pay for the day. Where the employee works on the holiday, such employee shall be paid in accordance with clause 7.5 of the Award.

Where the part-time employee's normal paid hours do not include a gazetted public holiday, the part time employee shall not be entitled to payment for that day. Where the employee works on the holiday, such employee shall be paid in accordance with clause 7.5 47 of the Awardthis Agreement.

Where the part-time employee's normal paid hours fall on a public holiday prescribed in clause 7.5 of the Award 23 - Public holidays, and work is not performed by the employee, such employee shall not lose pay for the day. Where the employee works on the holiday, such employee shall be paid in accordance with clause 7.5 23 of the Awardthis agreement.

Public Holidays. Where the part-time employee's normal paid hours fall on a gazetted public holiday prescribed in clause 7.5 of the Award and work is not performed by the employee, such employee shall not lose pay for the day. Where the part-time employee's normal paid hours do not include a gazetted public holiday, the part time employee shall not be entitled to payment for that day. Where the employee works on the holiday, such employee shall be paid in accordance with clause 7.5 30 - Public Holidays Rates of the Award.this Agreement.‌
