Common use of PTO Pay Clause in Contracts

PTO Pay. PTO pay shall be based on the number of hours per week comprising the workweek scheduled at straight-time rate. If a holiday occurs during an employee's PTO/vacation period the employee shall be paid at his/her straight time rate and the hours for such holiday shall not be deducted from the number of PTO/vacation hours the employee has accrued. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure timesheets are completed by Payroll deadline.
