Provisional Arrest or Detention. 1. In case of urgency, a requesting Government may apply to the requested Government for the provisional arrest or detention of the person sought pending the presentation of the formal request for extradition. The request may be transmitted to the requested Government through the diplomatic channel or directly between the United States Department of Justice and the Republic of the Xxxxxxxx Islands Ministry of Justice.

Provisional Arrest or Detention. (1) In cases of urgency, either Contracting Party may apply for the provisional arrest or detention of the person sought before the request for extradition has been submitted to the Requested Party through diplomatic channels. The request for provisional arrest or detention may be made either through diplomatic channels or directly between the Department of Justice of the United States and the Ministry of Justice of Turkey.

To allow time for obtaining and analyzing the data and updating the billing system, this billing change will take place on the first day of the second month following the end of the quarter (e.g. May 1 for 1Q, Aug 1 for 2Q, etc.). There will be no adjustments to the amount billed for previously billed LSRs.
