Common use of Professional Liability Coverage Clause in Contracts

Professional Liability Coverage. a) Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or an equivalent shall be a requirement for each Resident Physician. b) In the event that CMPA coverage is not available due to the Resident Physician taking an assignment outside of Canada or any other reason, the Resident Physician is required to provide AHS and the Faculty with proof of alternative equivalent coverage. c) AHS shall reimburse each Resident Physician in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per year as partial reimbursement for the CMPA membership dues.
