PROFESSIONAL LEAVE AND REIMBURSEMENT. 1. The Board shall provide substitutes for teachers who are approved to attend professional meetings (including clinic and state athletic tournaments) that are directly related to their field(s) of instruction and/or supplemental contracts (See Appendix E). Every effort will be made to supply substitutes for professional meetings. Information about professional meetings which comes to the administration but which has significance for the classroom teacher or special services personnel will be shared with all who might be interested.
