Common use of Product Technical Support & Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Product Technical Support & Maintenance. Licensee shall have the option of electing Software Assurance as set forth in the applicable Program Agreement. Software Assurance coverage and any renewal(s) thereof are independent of the expiration of the Centralized Contract term and will not automatically renew. Software Assurance shall include Fixes, new version rights, and may include other benefits including 24x7 Problem Resolution Support for Products as further described in the Product List. In the Select Plus Program Agreement, Enrolled Customer shall not be required to purchase maintenance for use of Product, and may discontinue maintenance at the end of any current maintenance term upon notice to Contractor.
